The idea for this one came from the much-needed rainfall two days ago. I was getting ready for Friday and there was a window of total cloud cover but only light drizzle - the only way I enjoy the rain.

This is how I love making music. The technique is called Live looping where one layer after another, things keep building up and it’s all improvised on the spot. You may know FKJ as an artist who makes music like this but I suggest watching Binkbeats.

You may have noticed some Hindi writings that I send out occasionally. This is another avenue I am exploring simply because when I think of my life in Patna, the thoughts and conversations all occur to me in Hindi. So for me to share the same with you in the same language makes the most sense to me.

When you pay attention to this video, you will see how I am taking time and slowly building the bed where I would improvise with the piano. There would be moments I would wander out and then I would come back in, this was a total flow state for me. I also went overboard in many instances which is the idea of improvisation I feel.
Sadly, my phone could not record the whole thing because I was unprepared so after a point I added some recent footage I shot in and around my house.
